** We don't recommend you submerge the alarm in water for any extended period of time. It's fine to hang in the shower, expose to rain or other normal humid conditions, or expose it for brief periods of time to water directly. It is an electronic item, so we don't recommend you submerge it use it under water, but that's common sense. It is impervious to normal user conditions including rain, shower spray, or normal humidity.
